Just looking at this ride cools us down. And adrenaline junkies will find that Penguin Trek, SeaWorld Orlando’s newest roller coaster, offers thrills and chills at the same time.
The thrills come when the snowmobile-like ride cars reach speeds of 43 mph, corkscrewing through indoor and outdoor environments. The chill (and another thrill) comes at the end of the voyage, when riders are immersed inside the penguin habitat, set at 30 degrees.
“Penguin Trek offers a uinque blend of thrills and education, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the wonders of Antarctica while highlighting our dedication to wildlife preservation and family-friendly fun,” said Jon Peterson, president of SeaWorld Orlando.
SeaWorld’s new Antarctica Realm introduces guests to the icy wonders of the seventh continent. Cool off with frosty beverages for both adults and the kids, and don’t forget to visit the revamped Expedition Café and grab some souvenirs at Glacial Supply.
The adventure is perfect for the entire family and can accommodate riders from 3.5 feet tall to 6.4 feet tall. seaworld.com/orlando
