DARLENE WILLIAMS

Regional Vice President | Massey Services, Inc.

At a very early age, Darlene Williams knew she wanted a career that allowed her to be outdoors. She graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in Landscape Design and Maintenance and secured a job working as a landscape manager right out of college. A few years later, she found her home at Massey Services and has been teaching and training team members at the company for 30 years. Today, Darlene is the Regional Vice President of Massey’s largest region, which encompasses the Central Florida area and includes 57 service center locations, 875 team members and over 315,000 customers.

Darlene’s hard work and commitment to excellence have set her apart from her peers. In fact, many Massey team members count on Darlene to provide expert advice on which plants work well in what areas of their own homes. She is highly experienced, professional and understands the technical intricacies, as well as the leadership demands, of her role. Her expertise spans operations; sales; technical and training; and customer service, which all combined make her a well-rounded leader.

As a leader and mentor, Darlene takes tangible actions to ensure the success of the team members around her. She shares her knowledge and experiences, empowering others to reach their full potential in the industry.

Darlene’s green thumb and passion for the outdoors aren’t just evident at work. She and her wife Donna spend many evenings and weekends at home working in their extensive vegetable garden. She tries to cultivate her passion for hard work and the outdoors into her two granddaughters who are frequently found helping in the garden on the weekends.
