Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Back

It’s going to be a very sweaty Halloween. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back, launching on August 12, in the throes of Florida’s long summer. Ticket prices range from $109 to $199 depending on the date, and because the party often sells out early, you may want to buy your tickets now.

Here’s a tip: “Your ticket gives you access to the park at 4 p.m., even though the party starts at 7 p.m. and lasts until midnight,” said John Front of thedisneyblog.com. “Arrive at 4 p.m. so you can ride a few rides before the festivities start.”

Think twice about your costume: modesty is rewarded. Disney reserves the right to send you home if you show a lot of skin, if your costume touches or drags on the ground, or if any obscene language or graphics are present.

Guests will likely wander the park trick-or-treating with their reusable trick-or-treat bags provided by the park. Sure to become a collector’s item, the bag will feature a 50th-anniversary design and a commemorative print. Several attractions, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Tea Party, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and Space Mountain, will be extra spooked out. Other special opportunities include:

  • The Boo to You Parade, led by the Headless Horseman.
  • A stage show called Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.
  • Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks hosted by Jack Skellington and his dog Zero.

Once again, guests will enjoy event-exclusive meet-and-greets with Disney villains. Disneyphiles are already wagering on which villains will appear. Cruella? Jafar? Soon we’ll know!
