We focus on educating the patient and not rushing through the appointment. We involve each patient in having an active role in their oral health with photographs of their teeth, xrays, and thorough exams that include oral cancer screenings.
GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT
Becoming a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Only around 6% of general dentists in the US and Canada hold this title. To become a fellow, you must show proficiency in the latest techniques and practices in dentistry by taking 500 hours of continuing education and passing a rigorous exam.
CHARITABLE WORK
Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys speaking to students about oral health and the dental profession, ranging from preschools to low income high schools in the area. She enjoys participating in MOM clinics that provide free dental care to those in need.
OFF HOURS
Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys playing tennis, gardening, spending time with her husband and two daughters, and cheering on her Tar Heels!
