J.Thaddeus Morgan, DMD
EDUCATION/SPECIALTY
A lifelong resident of Central Florida, Dr. Morgan attended Winter Park High School and Florida State University. He received his DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a 2-year post-doctoral program at the University of Florida. He specializes in general dentistry and was awarded a Fellowship as well as a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr Morgan is also very involved with Sleep Medicine, being a member of several national organizations.
HIS COMMITMENT TO DENTISTRY
For over 16 years, Dr. Morgan has served the Florida Board of Dentistry, which oversees the profession. While holding various roles, including Chairman of the Board, Dr. Morgan has been able to give back to his profession by helping protect patients as well as guide the Profession into the 21st century. Dr. Morgan is committed to continuing education, which allows his practice to keep up with the latest and safest advances in dental technology.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
“It’s so important to go out in the community and see what patients are seeing,’’ Dr. Morgan says. “A lot of them need help, and you can’t possibly understand where they’re coming from until you see it first-hand.” That’s why, in 2000, he founded the Dental Care Access Foundation, a non-profit organization for indigent dental care seekers. “By being in the community, I’m able to treat the whole person. Each situation is different, and you must understand someone else’s personal and dental challenges so you can treat each one in a unique way.”
PERSONAL
Dr. Morgan is married to his wife Jill, and they have a son who is a tax attorney in NYC. Usually, he can be found with his large extended family, all in Central Florida. Dr. Morgan has attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church since 1970.
