By switching to telehealth service, patients can visit with the OEC highly trained clinician from the safety of their home without having to go to the office which can put them or others at risk. This service will help prevent vulnerable patients from unnecessarily entering a facility when their needs can be met remotely. “We know patients with seizure and epilepsy will need access to care regardless of the current barriers. The Children’s Sleep Lab is now offering telemedicine visits via their Patient Portal. The portal allows patients to directly access their care providers. Parents can message the provider directly with any questions, comments or concerns they have regarding their child. This is also an excellent avenue for keeping up with lab test results, requesting medication refills and asking for letters and other forms you may need filled. About Dr. Witt
Dr. Witt (formerly Dr. Derrow) is a licensed, board-certified dermatologist who grew up in Central Florida. Dr. Witt graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Statistics. She received her M.D. from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2004. She went on to complete her internship in Internal Medicine and her dermatology residency training at the University of Cincinnati in 2008, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Witt now lives in Maitland with her husband, two daughters and their dog, Clobex and she enjoys photography, hiking and travel in her spare time. Dr. Witt is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Central Florida Society of Dermatology. Dr. Witt holds hospital privileges at Orlando Regional Healthcare System.
