WHAT SETS US APART
Eye Physicians of Central Florida is a comprehensive Ophthalmology practice caring for patients from birth through adulthood. We have ten ophthalmologists who offer complete eye care from examinations to surgery. Our ophthalmologists have subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology, adult eye muscle disorders, neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma, and corneal diseases. We also specialize in small-incision refractive, laser-assisted cataract surgery.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
From offering access to the latest treatment options to comforting a nervous child, we treat our patients with respect, warmth, and compassion. Every member of our team provides patients with the one-on-one attention they deserve.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Our physicians have trained at many of the country’s top eye centers, including Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Columbia University’s Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute, New York University Medical Center/Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Louisiana State University in New Orleans, University of Cincinnati, University of Pittsburgh/Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Washington University in St. Louis, Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
INNOVATIONS
We provide patients with the latest technologies and procedures in eye care, including laser-assisted cataract surgery. We also offer AcrySof PanOptix and toric intraocular lenses. These are designed to improve vision at all distances, often eliminating the need for bifocals or reading glasses. In addition, our scanning laser ophthalmoscope detects the very early stages of glaucoma and retinal diseases.
COMMUNITY
We have supported numerous community organizations over the years, including Lighthouse Central Florida, One World, and Second Harvest Food Bank. Many of our physicians also serve as assistant professors at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
